I gotta admit - I was starting to scrape the bottom of the paper pad on this one.
It was tougher finding designs I liked because I'd used most of the pink ones.
So I went with blue and tan and a pop of pink and I love how it turned out.
This is actually already in the mail for one of my besties so I hope she doesn't see this post!!
She says this to me (by text) and no one else ever has so I made it specifically for her....
I cut about 1/2" off the front right of the card so I could line the inside with this beautiful text paper
The text paper already came with a tiny bit of pink and blue distress on it so I made sure to preserve that part.
I actually chose the paper on the top of the front because it was lined and would help me line up the letter stickers.
Then I put a heart back to back on the edge with strong adhesive.
I'm holding it together in the above pic, because when it sits, it comes open a bit, as you can see....
I stamped "I love you" and wrote "happy *heart* day!"
I was hurrying to the post office so it's not my finest penmanship. :)
How about a little more inspiration?
I asked my friend, Vickie Curtis, who regularly took my classes to share a card with you.
She is an avid cardmaker and papercrafter and all around fun gal!!
I love this tri-fold card with an insert and a tag. Very clever!! Thanks for sharing this, Vickie!!
Hope you enjoyed! I might do one more Valentine tomorrow - we'll see.
I hope you've gained some inspiration from my Valentine cards and I'd love to see a link to yours!
